Phoenix S Brown

Blanket Editions x Phoenix S. Brown

We’re thrilled to announce the release of Series 2 from Blanket Editions, featuring exciting new designs by Milwaukee artists Peter Berrickman, Phoenix S. Brown, and Jo Willis. These limited-edition Jacquard woven blankets transform original artworks into beautifully crafted pieces—bringing warmth, creativity, and community support into your home.

Blanket Editions celebrates Milwaukee’s arts community while giving back. Each purchase directly supports the artist and contributes to a designated local shelter. This initiative not only fosters artistic opportunity but also provides meaningful financial support where it’s needed most.

Series 2 supports the Sojourner Family Peace Center and Pathfinders.

ABOUT

Blanket Editions collaborates with artists to design a limited edition blanket. Each blanket is woven with a mechanical Jacquard loom using monochromatic and solid-colored cotton yarns. The process produces a beautifully rendered image, detailed for a unique art reproduction. All blankets are available at an edition of 10, and priced at $200. After production costs, sales from each blanket are fully divided between the artist and an MKE shelter of their choosing.

Blanket Editions continues to operate at a small capacity–email or direct message (@blanketeditions on Instagram) with a purchase inquiry, and we will get back to you with payment and shipping information. Currently, we accept payment through Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, or, if you are local to Milwaukee, we can arrange a cash payment.

All blankets from both Series 1 and Series 2 are available for purchase.

Phoenix has committed to supporting the Sojourner Family Peace Center.
